Councilman Juan Mayans, second vice president of the Water Consortium Balearic Islands

The Councillor for Environment and Mobility Ibiza Town Hall, Juan Mayans, was named second vice president yesterday in Palma Consortium waters of the Balearic Islands in the constitution of the governing board of the agency that manages the desalination of the archipelago.

The consortium, formed by the Government of the Balearic Water Agency (ABAQUS) and 24 municipalities desalination community, Balearic chaired by the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Territory, Biel Company.

Mayans by the City of Ibiza, and the Councillor for Works, Services, Transportation and Communication, Vicent Costa, by the City Council of San Antonio, are the only representatives of the island in the consortium.
